The Competitive Debate program introduces students to four major styles of debate:
- International Public Debate Association (IPDA)
- National Parliamentary Debate Association (NPDA)
- Lincoln-Douglas Debate (LD)
- Public Forum Debate (PF)
Students learn how different debate formats function while developing transferable skills in research, argumentation, refutation, strategy, and persuasive speaking.
Instruction combines lessons, demonstrations, drills, practice rounds, individualized feedback, and strategy sessions.
